detailed description

The Daolasa–Folgarida–Orso Bruno connection webcam shows one of the most crucial areas for travel within the Folgarida–Marilleva ski area. The frame is located near the Daolasa gondola lift station, the main access point to the upper part of the ski area for those ascending from Val di Sole.

On the left, the webcam shows the start of the Panoramica slope, which descends from Monte Spolverino and heads towards Malghet Aut, offering a wide and popular route. Also on the left, a little further down, you can see the start of the Skiweg slope, which provides easy access to Malghet Aut and the Folgarida ski school area.

Proceeding in the central direction, the view shows the next part of the Panoramica slope, which leads to the Bassetta chairlift station, one of the favourite facilities for climbing back up towards Monte Spolverino.

On the right, the shot includes the Vigo chairlift, which leads directly to Monte Vigo, a panoramic point and key point on the ski-to-door connection between Folgarida, Marilleva, and Madonna di Campiglio. At the summit is the charming Rifugio Orso Bruno.

This webcam is extremely useful for checking:

  • Waiting times at the Bassetta and Vigo lifts
  • the quality of the snow cover along the Panoramica and Skiweg slopes
  • actual visibility at altitude and the arrival of clouds or wind
  • the influx of skiers during peak hours

It's an essential tool for accurately planning your travels within the ski area, especially for deciding when to head to Monte Vigo and the connection to Madonna di Campiglio.
